It brings to mind the tragicomic works of Samuel Beckett -- a tiny figure forever yoked to its burden of absurdity...that's why it's funny you berk.

I just liked it for the "Travelin' Music" soundtrack and the peanut gallery "YAAAAAY"s and "EWWWWWW"s.
